About our courses

We do not train your dog for you - we teach you how to train your own dog. After all the dog lives with you and it is you who manages their behaviour every day.

If your dog is under 6 months old you can enrol on a Puppy course where you and your puppy will be guided along a path that will set you up for having a well behaved dog in the future by socialising it with other dogs at an early age. You will be taught basic obedience exercises and be given information that will help you to have a well balanced dog.

If your dog is over 6 months old you can enrol in a Beginners class where we teach basic obedience. It could be that your dog has developed some habits that you are not happy with. If you missed out on early puppy training it is never too late to start to train your dog it sometimes just takes a bit longer to get back on the straight and narrow.

If you have completed a puppy course this class may be your next step to progress your initial training as your puppy matures.

Once you & your dog have achieved the basics you may want to go further by joining an Intermediate group. In these classes we look to progress dogs and train towards The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme bronze award.

In the longer term you could join an Advanced class. These groups train towards The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme silver & gold awards and beyond.
